ACLS Provider - Full Course is appropriate for initial / first time ACLS certifications or for those with an expired ACLS certification. This advanced, instructor led course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). AHA ACLS Provider certification cards are issued immediately at end of class, upon successful completion of course requirements.

ACLS Requirements - all students MUST arrive to class with:

  • A current AHA issued BLS Provider certification card (not expired on day of class)
  • The current AHA ACLS Provider Manual (2020 VERSION)
  • Completed ACLS Pretest printout with 84% minimum score

Continuing with this class registration indicates understanding of and agreement to all policies and requirements. Students arriving to class without requirements will be required to reschedule the class, and pay an additional $25 rescheduling fee.

ACLS Provider - Renewal / Update Course is appropriate for providers who have a current, not yet expired, ACLS Provider certification. Skills check sessions provide the required hands on skills practice and testing required to obtain AHA certification after students have completed an AHA Online eLearning Course.

This BLS/CPR class for UCF STUDENTS & FACULTY ONLY. Class is being held at All Care's Conway Rd location.

 

Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course - Includes CPR for adult, child, and infant, rescue breathing, use of an AED, and relief of choking. This is an instructor led course providing both cognitive and skills instruction and evaluation.

Intended audience: This class is only for UCF students and faculty. If you are not a UCF student or faculty member, please choose one of our regular "BLS Provider CPR AED classes". This course is appropriate for renewals, expired certifications, and first timers. No previous experience necessary.

CertificationBLS Provider Certification provided immediately at end of class, upon successful completion of course requirements. Certification is valid for 2 years. This course provides genuine American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Certification (formerly called BLS for Healthcare Providers and Heartsaver CPR AED).

Heartsaver® First Aid is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrives. Students learn duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including heart attack and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, bites and stings, and use of an Epi-pen.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

CertificationHeartsaver® First Aid Certification provided immediately at end of class, upon successful completion of course requirements. Certification is valid for 2 years. This course provides genuine American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver® First Aid certification.

PALS Provider - Full Course is appropriate for initial / first time PALS certifications or for those with an expired PALS certification. PALS is a classroom based, instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. AHA PALS Provider certification cards are issued immediately at end of class, upon successful completion of course requirements.

PALS Requirements - all students MUST arrive to class with:

  • A current AHA issued BLS Provider certification card (not expired on day of class)
  • The current AHA PALS Provider Manual (2020 VERSION)
